My beautiful travel in Ladakh is over and I am now back in France!

I remember this holidays with great pleasure and emotion and I was very happy to come back in your country. For me, it is impossible to forget the wonderful nature and landscapes and the friendship of the Ladakhi people, and particularly yours.

You are a very good guide and I was lucky to meet you. Thank you very much for all you were for us during the travel, and for your kindness! You are my son from Ladakh and I don’t forget you. I wish you will be happy for all your life. If I can do something for you, you can tell me.

We visited Ladakh for our third time and as we wanted to make the most of our 4 weeks consulted with a few agents regarding trips, prices & conditions. We decided on Higher Himalaya as it was very clear when dealing with Chamba what the deal included, options and price variations and he was very keen to accommodate our needs and ideas. We did 3 trips – the Indus valley Gompas and main sights (Shey, Thiksey, Hemis and Stok Palace), a 3night / 4 day trip to Nubra valley – Pangong (Hundar ,Diskit, Sumar and Pangong Lake as well as an 8 day trip to Zanskar including a 3 day trek from Enmu to Phugtal Monastery and return and an additional day visiting Karsha Gompa, Zangla and the Nunnery near Zangla. For the Zanskar trip Chamba through in a complimentary guide for our trek which enhanced our experience and made for a worry free trek.
Our drivers / guides Tsering (Indus / Nubra / Pangong) & Tamchos (Zanskar) were fantastic…very humble, polite and helpful Ladakhis who were always up for a laugh and wanted to make our trip a memorable one. They also spoke excellent English and French. Tamchos our driver for the Zanskar trip (which was undertaken in late October when the weather was turning to winter) used to wake several times in the night to run the car to ensure the car was ready to start the next morning.
We would certainly use Chamba / Higher Himalaya again for our travel / trekking needs and have no hesitation in recommending the company if you are visiting Ladakh. They were fantastic and can definitely be relied upon!!!

Une super agence qui nous a organisé notre séjour + trek au Zanskar dans un délai très contraint, un guide Doorjay très sympa et incroyablement compétent sur le Zanskar qui nous a accompagné pendant les 9 jours. A small agency with great organization!
We arrive in Leh with no hotels or trips booked, just with the idea of what we wanna do in 5 days around Indus Valley and Nubra Valley. Half an hour after landed we arrive at the agency and we spoke with a kind man (I’m sorry but I don’t remember his name, however all people there were kind with us) and we explain which was our plans. He in few minutes organized us an incredible trip with hotel, private driver, meals that allowed us to see in few days all that we wanna see. All inclusive. The price was very good for all the things we done! Talking about the experience was the best experience we done in our lives, we slept in the thiksey gompa we done a trekking in the awesome markha valley with a very professional guide, always with professional drivers or guides.
We were going to go to Nubra Valley through the Khardgung La Pass (5600 mt), unfortunately when we arrived there with our driver the road was closed for the snow, so we call back the agency (that was helpful and patience for all our trip), and they organize us an alternative trip to other beautiful areas WITHOUT EXTRA CHARGE!
In conclusion I definitively suggest this incredible and professional agency for a great adventure in the magic Ladakh.

P.s. They also organize trip to see the legendary snow leopard during the winter.
